Behavioral health professionals devote their lives to helping people through some of life’s most difficult moments. They shouldn’t have to worry about whether their claims are being followed up, their reimbursements are accurate, or whether they’re just another client to their billing company.
For us, Nighthawk Partners is about more than processing claims. We wanted to create a business where providers have a real relationship with the people handling their billing. By intentionally keeping Nighthawk small and boutique, We're able to be accessible, responsive, and genuinely invested in the providers we work with. Our goal is for the providers we serve to feel supported, understood, and confident knowing that someone is paying attention to the details behind the scenes.
Our Why,

me back as a Quality and Process Improvement Director for the company founded by my late brother, an incredible man who dedicated much of his life in recovery to giving back to others. His passing reinforced just how much I believe in this work, in growth, healing, and the power of people to change their lives.
Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and dad. From Salt Lake City Utah, I’ve been with my partner for 16 years, married for 10, and together we have two amazingly talented boys. I love DIY projects, interior design, and most of all, quality time and meaningful relationships. At my core, I’m someone who values people, connection, curiosity, and asking the questions others may overlook. Those values have shaped both my career and the way I move through life.
About Justin Banks
I’ve spent the past 11 years working in behavioral health, gaining experience across nearly every part of the healthcare and insurance process. My career has taken me through all levels of care, from detox and residential treatment to outpatient services, with hands-on experience in authorizations, appeals, medical-necessity reviews, insurance verification, billing, claims, and more.
What I’ve learned along the way is that healthcare billing and insurance can feel unnecessarily complicated, especially when you’re trying to focus on caring for your patients while also running a practice. I understand the importance of getting the details right, understanding what insurance companies require, and helping providers navigate that process with confidence.
I’m a born-and-raised Utahn, and outside of work, my family is at the center of my life. I also enjoy going to the gym, crafting and building, and taking on home-improvement projects. I bring that same hands-on, detail-oriented mindset to the work I do for our providers.

About Christopher Banks
My journey into behavioral health and revenue cycle management has always been about more than billing. Having seen firsthand how addiction and mental health challenges can affect individuals, families, and entire communities, I developed a deep appreciation for the people who choose to seek help, do the hard work, and fight for a better life. That perspective is a big part of what drew me to the behavioral health industry, where I have built my career for the past 12 years.
I began as a Verification of Benefits Specialist before moving into refund recovery, where I discovered a passion for digging deeper, asking why, and challenging insurance decisions that didn’t always seem right. From claims follow-up and revenue cycle operations to helping build a billing company from the ground up as a Co-Founder and Special Operations Director, my career has given me experience across many areas of the revenue cycle.
After applying my leadership and HR training from the military in a role outside of healthcare, the relationships I had built within behavioral health ultimately brought
